Technetium 99m DTPA is a radiopharmaceutical used for renal perfusion and function studies and for cerebrospinal fluid flow imaging.

Properties

Tc99m labeled DTPA is filtered by the glomerulus and emits gamma photons suitable for dynamic scintigraphy and quantitative renal function assessment.

Uses

Used for renography, glomerular filtration rate estimation and radionuclide cisternography to evaluate CSF leaks and flow.
