Operational and Safety Functions

Pharmacists oversee formulary management, adverse event reporting and medication use policies and provide patient counseling to improve adherence and outcomes.

Education and Certification

Pharmacists hold a PharmD, obtain licensure and may pursue residency or board certification in specialties such as oncology, critical care or infectious diseases.
