Properties
High relaxivity per unit gadolinium, macrocyclic chelate confers strong kinetic stability and lower propensity for gadolinium release.
Uses
Used for brain, spine and body MRI to improve lesion detection, characterization and vascular imaging.
Safety
Risk of nephrogenic systemic fibrosis in severe renal impairment is low but present; use lowest effective dose and follow renal screening guidelines.
