College Description of Interventional Radiology Pharmacology
This course introduces IR pharmacology with expanded emphasis on sedation, anticoagulation, and contrast agents. Students learn how medications support IR procedures and influence patient outcomes. Additionally, the course strengthens analytical reasoning and prepares students for advanced IR practice.
Course Objectives of Interventional Radiology Pharmacology
Students will learn to explain IR medications, analyze pharmacologic effects, interpret safety considerations, and evaluate medication protocols. They will also strengthen analytical reasoning, communication skills, and pharmacologic understanding.
