College Description of Calculus II
This course continues differential calculus with expanded emphasis on integration techniques, applications of the integral, and infinite series. Students strengthen analytical and problem solving skills through rigorous practice and real world modeling. Additionally, the course prepares students for advanced work in multivariable calculus and differential equations.
Course Objectives of Calculus II
Students will learn to apply integration techniques, evaluate definite and indefinite integrals, analyze sequences and series, and interpret real world applications. They will also strengthen mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills.
