Cone beam CT provides high resolution volumetric imaging of dentoalveolar structures with lower dose than conventional CT for localized fields of view.
Acquisition Settings
Select field of view appropriate to the region of interest and use high spatial resolution settings with metal artifact reduction when available.

Patient Preparation and Positioning
Stabilize head, remove metallic objects, and instruct bite position for reproducible scans.
