College Description of Ethics
This course introduces ethics with expanded emphasis on ethical theories, moral reasoning, and contemporary issues. Students learn to evaluate ethical arguments. Additionally, the course strengthens critical thinking and ethical interpretation.
Course Objectives of Ethics
Students will learn to evaluate ethical arguments, analyze moral dilemmas, interpret ethical theories, and apply ethical reasoning. They will also strengthen communication and analytical skills.
Key Topics Covered During Ethics
Utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics, moral reasoning, and applied ethics. These topics provide the foundation for understanding ethics.
Student Assessment During Ethics
Assessment includes essays, exams, discussions, and applied ethics tasks. Students will also complete activities that reinforce ethical reasoning.
