College Description of Interventional Body Procedures
This course introduces body IR procedures with expanded emphasis on drainage, biopsy, and organ specific intervention. Students learn to evaluate abdominal pathology and assist with IR procedures. Additionally, the course strengthens analytical reasoning and prepares students for advanced body IR practice.
Course Objectives of Interventional Body Procedures
Students will learn to analyze abdominal pathology, interpret procedural requirements, evaluate body IR protocols, and apply interventional techniques to abdominal systems. They will also strengthen observational skills, analytical reasoning, and procedural interpretation.
