College Description of Mandarin Chinese II
This course continues Mandarin Chinese with expanded emphasis on conversation, character recognition, and reading comprehension. Students learn to communicate more fluently and interpret increasingly complex language structures. Additionally, the course strengthens linguistic reasoning, cultural understanding, and tonal interpretation.
Course Objectives of Mandarin Chinese II
Students will learn to communicate in Mandarin, interpret intermediate vocabulary, apply grammar structures, and engage in conversational exchanges. They will also strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
