College Description of Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation
This course introduces nuclear instrumentation with expanded emphasis on gamma cameras, PET detectors, and quality control. Students learn how imaging systems function and how performance is maintained. Additionally, the course strengthens analytical reasoning and prepares students for advanced instrumentation roles.
Course Objectives of Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation
Students will learn to analyze detector components, interpret system performance, evaluate QC procedures, and apply instrumentation principles. They will also strengthen observational skills, analytical reasoning, and technical interpretation.
